Can After Hours Health Care be my primary care physician?

Yes! If you already have a primary care physician, we encourage you to keep that relationship and we will work with your primary doctor to facilitate your care, but if you do not have a primary care physician, or if it is just too hard to fit regular doctor visits into your schedule, then we can provide all of the services of a primary care physician, after hours.

What about womens’ health issues?

We have Dr. Amy Bourassa on staff to address our womens’ health patients, and her schedule is by appointment. Dr. Bourassa graduated from M.I.T. and then went on to receive her M.D. degree at U.C.S.F. She then completed her 3-year Family Practice residency at Oakwood Hospital in Michigan. Dr. Bourassa is board-certified in Family Medicine and has over 10 years of experience treating patients of all ages, including planned parenthood patients and students at Foothill College.

What about x-rays or lab work?

Both x-ray and ultrasound are onsite. So, for example, if we think you might be having a gall bladder attack, we can tell you that onsite. Want better health insurance? Get free health insurance quotes here.

Routine checks and doctors visits for my high blood pressure and diabetes?

Absolutely.

What about annual physicals required for my job or for a husband that refuses to go to the doctor because he claims he has no time?

We can perform physicals on any patient that requires one or simply has not had one in years but should. There is a saying in medicine that an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, and a physical is a very important step in preventing disease and illness. Our Clinic makes getting physicals convenient and easy, even for the most illusive patient.

How about prescriptions?

We have a variety of prescriptions onsite. Stopping at the pharmacy with your prescription is just one more thing to do, and we recognize that, so we carry a variety of common prescriptions that you can get at your visit. Of course, if you need something we do not have, we will write you a prescription.

And what about insurance, do you take my insurance?
